Motorkraft

Our shop, Motorkraft, is situated at P 149 on Remount Road in the Mominpur part of Alipore. It is an old part of town and we have been in this building for quite some time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the work to worry about that. Mechanical stuff is what we handle here. It is a hands-on kind of place where you will usually find us with dirt under our fingernails and oil on our shirts. No fancy waiting area with air conditioning exists here. Most customers just hang around the entrance or go for a walk while we look at their machines. Many of our old tools still work better than the new ones. It is just a few of us working here. Instead of a big company with many branches, we just have this one spot. We open up early and usually stay until the sun goes down. Remount Road can be quite busy, so there is always something to look at while we work. Promotion isn't something we do much of. Most people find us because they live in Alipore or they heard about us from a friend. Every day we just try to do a decent job. It is not always perfect, but we do our best with what we have. This is just a normal, everyday shop for us and we plan to stay here for a long time.
