Motor World Hazra

Motor World Hazra is right there at 77, Hazra Road, near the corner where it meets Sarat Bose Road. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets. The traffic is constant and there’s always someone honking or looking for a parking spot. We’ve been at this location for a good bit of time. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. Most days it’s just us talking to people who drop by while they’re out running errands. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially with all the cars outside. We usually have the radio playing in the back to drown out the street noise a little bit. It’s a handy place for people living around here. We don't have a corporate office or anyone in a suit. Just us in our regular clothes. Sometimes we run out of space on the sidewalk, so things get a bit cramped. We handle the paperwork on a small desk that’s seen better days. It works for us though. We see a lot of regular faces from the neighborhood. It’s nice when someone waves while walking past to the market. We don't try to be anything we’re not. We just open up in the morning, do what needs to be done, and close up when the sun goes down. It’s a basic life but we enjoy being part of the local scene. And we've seen Hazra Road change a lot over the years too.
