We are located at 26 Ananda Mohan Bose Road in the Motijhil area. It is near Satgachi on the Dumdum Road side. The building is a bit old, but it stays cool enough in the summer. Monbhashi Tours And Travels is a name most people in this neighborhood recognize by now. We started out with just one table and a telephone. Now we have a bit more, but it still feels like a home office. There are always posters of mountains and beaches taped to the walls to give people ideas. We spend our days talking to drivers and checking hotel availability. It is a lot of back and forth on the phone. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up the bookings for a big group. The street outside is narrow, so parking can be a bit of a headache for people visiting us. We usually tell them to park further down. We don't have a big sign, just a small one near the entrance. Most of the people who come to us are families from around Motijhil who want to go on a holiday. We know most of them by face. It is a very local business. We have a small electric kettle for making coffee when the weather gets a bit chilly. Everything is done in a very straightforward way without any fuss.
