You can find us in Goalpota, specifically in the Purba Para section of the village. The Bithari post office is the closest landmark if you are coming from out of town. It is a quiet village, and we have been a part of this community for a long time. Our office is just a simple room where we keep our records and meet with people during the day. We do not spend money on fancy decorations or expensive office chairs. We would rather just keep things running smoothly and keep our costs down. Most of the people who come in are our neighbors or people we see at the market. We talk about the local news while we handle the deposits and the paperwork. It feels more like a community center sometimes than a regular business office. We try to be helpful to everyone. If someone does not understand a form, we sit down and go through it line by line until it makes sense. There is no rush here. The tea stall nearby is where we usually grab a drink during our afternoon breaks. Sometimes we bring back snacks for the people waiting in the office. It is just a relaxed atmosphere. We do not have a dress code or anything like that. You come in your work clothes, and that is perfectly fine with us. We know how hard people work around here. It is honest work.
