Modiplus Infra Llp

Our office for Modiplus Infra Llp is located right at 1 Ganesh Chandra Avenue. This is one of those spots in Kolkata where there is never a dull moment outside the window. You can hear the trams and the honking of the yellow taxis all day long. We have been here for a bit, focusing on infrastructure things and trying to stay on top of our various projects. It’s not a huge setup, just a few of us working together in a room that gets a lot of natural light in the mornings. We don't really go for the polished corporate look because that isn't really who we are. We just wear regular clothes and get on with the tasks. Most days are spent looking at blueprints or checking on material costs. Sometimes the power goes out for a minute and we just sit there and wait for the backup to kick in. It’s just part of life in this part of the city. We keep our files in old cabinets and mostly use the phone to coordinate with the workers on-site. People sometimes wander in thinking we are a different shop, but we just tell them we do infrastructure and they move on. It’s a simple way of working, but it suits us just fine. We like being on Ganesh Chandra Avenue because it feels like the heart of the business district. We have some old wooden furniture and a few plants that probably need more water.
