We are based in Suite-71 of Marshall House, which is a big old building on 25 Strand Road. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know how hectic it gets with all the trucks and the proximity to the port area. Marshall House itself has a lot of history, but mostly it's just a maze of different offices and stores. Our suite is up on one of the higher floors, so we’re a bit away from the street noise, but you can still hear the distant honking. The elevators can be a bit slow, so a lot of us just end up taking the stairs if we aren't carrying anything heavy. Inside, Mms Stores (P) Ltd. is pretty packed with stuff. We’ve got shelves full of ledger books and supplies, and the desks are usually covered in papers. It’s not one of those modern glass offices you see in the new parts of town. It feels like a place where people have been working for decades. The tea stalls downstairs are where most of the gossip happens. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our little corner of Marshall House stays pretty much the same. It's a bit dusty and cramped, but it's where we get our daily business done. We don’t really go in for fancy furniture or anything like that, just what works for our day-to-day activities. That is just how we operate here in the city.
