We operate out of Mahesh Danga Colony in the Burdwan district. It is a bit of a quiet area in West Bengal but we keep things moving here at M.K.Gupta & Abhyuday Housing & Construction (P)Ltd(Jv). Most people just call us the local builders because that is basically what we are. We have been handling housing projects for some time now. Our office is easy to find if you know where Bikash Majumdar lives near the village post office. It is not a shiny glass building or anything like that, just a regular place where we get our paperwork done. We deal with construction day in and day out. It gets messy sometimes with the mud and the trucks coming through the colony. We try to keep things organized but construction is always a bit chaotic by nature. People around here know us by name. We do not do much advertising because the work usually speaks for itself in the neighborhood. We have got our crew and our equipment ready whenever a new project starts up. It is honest work. We spend a lot of time on site making sure walls go up straight. Sometimes the weather in West Bengal makes things difficult, especially when it rains hard, but we manage. If you are looking for the office, just head toward the colony in Mahesh Danga and ask around. We are usually there from early morning until the sun goes down. It is just a small group of us trying to build decent homes for people in the area.
