Miyata Intl.

Miyata Intl. is located on the ground floor of 48-B Paddapukar Road. It’s one of those older streets where everything is a bit tight and the buildings are close together. Being on the ground floor is handy for moving stuff in and out, but you definitely hear everything that goes on outside. There’s always someone shouting or a rickshaw bell ringing nearby. The light inside isn’t great because the buildings around us are so tall, so we have to keep the overheads on all day. It’s not a large office, just enough room for a few people to sit and some space for the files and samples we keep around. We’ve been at this address for quite some time now, and we know the local shops pretty well. Sometimes the rain floods the street a little bit during the monsoon, which is always a hassle for the staff getting to work. We don’t really have a lobby or a reception desk; you just kind of walk in and we’re there. It’s a very practical setup. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We spend most of our time on the phone or dealing with paperwork, so the surroundings don't matter that much as long as the work gets finished. It’s just a normal workplace in a busy part of the city. We enjoy the local atmosphere despite the noise and the general chaos.
