Based at 30 Satin Sen Pally in the Sarsuna area of Kolkata, our company has been doing construction work for a good while. We are Mistry Cons. Co. Pvt. Ltd., but to most people around here, we are just the folks in the office near the post office. Kolkata has a certain way of doing things, and we fit right into that rhythm. Our office isn't very large, mostly just enough space for our desks and all the project folders that seem to pile up no matter how much we clean. We deal with the usual stuff like labor schedules, cement orders, and making sure the sites have what they need. The weather in West Bengal can be tricky for building, especially when the monsoon hits and everything has to stop for a bit. During those times, we just sit in the office, drink tea, and plan for when the rain clears. It’s a lot of practical thinking. We don't have a big corporate structure, just a team that knows how to handle a site. Sometimes we’re out in the mud, other times we’re arguing over a bill or a delivery that didn't arrive. It’s real work that gets our hands dirty. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to finish the jobs we started and get the buildings ready. It’s a quiet part of town, and we like it that way because it lets us focus on the work without too much noise from the main city traffic. We just take things as they come.
