Mirror Works

You can find us at 1-A, Sree Mohan Lane. We go by Mirror Works. As you can probably guess from the name, there is a lot of glass around here. It’s a narrow lane, so getting large sheets of glass in and out can be a real headache. We have to be very careful. One wrong move and something breaks. We’ve all had a few cuts over the years. The workshop is always full of scraps and cutting tools. It’s not the kind of place you want to walk around in barefoot. We don't have a big fancy storefront. People usually just find us by the sound of glass being cut or by word of mouth in the neighborhood. We have been at this address for a long time. The building is a bit old, but it works for what we need. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and polishing edges. It’s repetitive but you have to pay attention. If the measurements are off by even a little bit, the whole piece is ruined. We don't do much in the way of sales talk. People come in with their sizes, and we get to work. Sometimes it’s a bit dusty, and the light isn't always great, but we make it work. It’s a small operation with just a few of us. We take things as they come and try to keep the breakage to a minimum. The floor is always covered in tiny shards that we have to sweep up.
