Minnoli

Our shop, Minnoli, is located inside Karnani Estate, right at Unit G1. Being at 209, A.J.C. Bose Road means we are right in the thick of things in Kolkata. The noise from the street never really stops, and you can always hear the horns and the people rushing by outside. Our unit is on the ground floor which is nice because we don't have to lug heavy stuff up the stairs, but it also means it gets a bit dusty from the main road. Most days start with us opening up the shutters and dusting off the counters before the first few people walk in. We have a small team here, and most of us have lived in this city our whole lives. We know the shortcuts around the building and which local lunch spots have the best food. It is a bit cramped inside sometimes when we get a lot of inventory in, but we manage to find a place for everything eventually. We don't really have a big reception desk or anything like that. People just walk in, ask what they need, and we help them out. The lighting in the back is a bit dim, but we know where every box is kept. It is a busy life here on AJC Bose Road, and we are just another part of the daily hustle that makes this area what it is.
