Mini Wear

Mini Wear is over in Salt Lake, Kolkata. We are at H2/3 in the Labony Estate. If you know Salt Lake, you know it’s a bit more planned out than the rest of the city, but Labony has its own old-school charm. Our place is full of fabric samples and half-packed boxes. We deal with clothes, so there’s always lint on the floor and sewing machines humming somewhere in the background. It’s a very hands-on environment. We don’t have a big corporate board or anything like that. It’s mostly just us checking sizes and looking at patterns. The 700064 area is where we do everything. Sometimes it gets really humid, and the ceiling fans have to work overtime to keep us cool while we fold garments. We’ve been in this estate for years. The neighbors are used to the delivery vans pulling up and the sound of iron presses. It’s a busy little spot. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture. We’d rather have more space for the stock. Our desks are covered in measuring tapes and scraps of cloth. It’s a bit disorganized at times, especially when a big order is going out. But that’s just how we work. It’s a practical, local business. We take pride in just getting the items ready and sent out without any big fuss or complicated systems. It’s just how things are done here in Kolkata and we like it that way.
