Our office for Midas Auto Soft India Pvt Ltd is over at Netaji Colony in Kolkata. Specifically, we are at 179, near the Baranagar Police Station. Navin Pandey is usually around here making sure things are moving along. Being near a police station means there is always some activity going on outside. The colony itself is quite crowded, which is typical for this part of the city. We have a small team working on various software and auto-related tasks. It is not the kind of place with glass walls or expensive furniture. We have our computers and a few cupboards for files. Most days are spent looking at screens and trying to figure out technical issues. We take our tea breaks at the small shop just down the road. It’s a good way to get some fresh air. The office can get a bit loud when the traffic picks up in the afternoon. We don’t have a big sign out front, just a small one so people don’t miss the turn. We have been at this address for several years now. It’s a decent place to work and we know the neighbors well. We don't bother with a lot of meetings or corporate talk. We just get the work done as it comes in. It’s a practical setup for a small company like ours in Kolkata-90.
