M.G.M. Rubber Company

M.G.M. Rubber Company is located at 86/1 on B.T. Road in Tala. Being on B.T. Road means there's always noise from the traffic outside, but we don't really notice it anymore. We work with rubber, which is a bit of a messy business if we’re being honest. There’s usually that specific smell of raw material in the air, and our clothes often end up with some dust on them by the end of the shift. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. The building shows its age in places, but it’s sturdy and holds all our machinery just fine. We make various rubber parts and components that go into other machines. It's a lot of cutting, molding, and checking sizes. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s mostly just us and the machines. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the afternoon fixing a press, but that’s part of the life. People around Tala know where we are. We keep a simple routine. We show up, see what needs to be made, and start the machines. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is humid, but we’ve got a good group here who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty. We just focus on making sure the rubber pieces are right before they go out the door. That's what we do every day. We just get it done.
