Metro Furniture

Our place is tucked into M J Lane, just off Nasiruddin Road near Circus Avenue. It’s one of those narrow streets where you have to be careful when you’re driving a big truck through. We have been working out of this spot at number 5 for quite a while now. The shop is filled with the smell of cut wood and sometimes a bit of varnish if we’ve been fixing something up. We keep a variety of things like beds, small tables, and those heavy wardrobes that last for decades. It’s a local operation, mostly just a few of us making sure everything is in the right place. People usually find us because they live nearby or their parents bought something from here years ago. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have stuff stacked up and you have to walk around the sofas to see the chairs in the back. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back door so we have to move the wooden pieces away from the wall. It’s just a regular shop where we do our work and talk to the neighbors. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just a steady spot where you can find a decent table without too much fuss. Every morning we sweep the sawdust out onto the lane before the first customer shows up and the day really starts.
