Our setup is a little different because we’re based in Tower 2 of City High, right there on Prince Anwar Shah Road. It’s a busy, crowded part of the city, and being on the 14th floor at 14H gives us a bit of a view of the traffic below. Even though the address says City High, we’re still very much involved in the world of auto galvanizing. It’s a strange mix, having an office in a tall building while dealing with industrial processes, but it works for us. We handle the administrative side of things and coordinate with the sites where the actual dipping and coating happen. The elevators can be slow during the morning rush, and sometimes the lobby gets packed, but once we’re at our desks, it’s all about the metalwork. We don’t have a big corporate vibe here. Most of us have been in the industry for years and we talk more about zinc and steel than anything else. We get a lot of phone calls and spend a good chunk of the day chasing down orders or checking on timelines. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone time, but it’s necessary to keep the galvanizing business moving. We aren't looking for awards; we just want to make sure the parts don't rust and the customers get what they paid for. It’s just how we’ve always handled things from this office on Prince Anwar Shah Road.
