We have been running Mess Cab India Pvt Ltd from our spot near the 4 No Bridge on the Em By Pass for quite a while now. It is a busy area and the traffic can get pretty loud during the day, but we are used to it by now. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we keep the keys and manage the schedules for the drivers. Most mornings start with a lot of phone calls and trying to figure out which car is where. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and talking to the guys out on the road. Sometimes the tea stall down the street is the only thing that keeps us going during those long afternoon shifts when the sun is hitting the windows. We deal with all sorts of people, from regulars who need a lift to work every day to folks just passing through the city. It is a simple operation really. We have a few desks, some old chairs, and a lot of logbooks piled up on the shelves. The Em By Pass is always moving, so there is never really a quiet moment around here. We just focus on getting through the daily list of bookings and making sure the cars are fueled up. It's practical work and it keeps us busy from early morning until late at night when the bridge lights finally come on and things slow down just a little bit.
