Our office is over on Alipore Road, at 36 A & B. It’s a nice enough area, though it gets a bit gloomy when it rains. The building has been here for a while, and you can see it in the walls and the old-fashioned windows. We do a lot of pharmaceutical work here, mostly focusing on getting our products out to where they need to go. My desk is usually covered in folders and random scraps of paper with notes on them. We have a small group of people working here, and we’ve all grown used to the hum of the air conditioners. It’s not the kind of place with a lot of glass and steel; it’s more about the work we do every day. We spend a lot of time talking to doctors and distributors on the phone. Sometimes the internet goes slow, and we all have to wait around, which gives us time to catch up on office gossip. We try to keep things organized, but when a new shipment arrives, the whole place turns into a bit of a maze of boxes. It’s a steady kind of life. We aren't looking to change the world, just trying to keep our clients happy and make sure the medicine we handle is handled right. It’s just us doing our jobs in Alipore, nothing more to it.
