Our place is at 21 Amratolla Street in Kolkata. If you know this area, you know it's crowded and full of life. It’s the 700007 zip code, right in the heart of things. We work out of a modest space because we don't need much to do what we do. Meister Services is basically just us showing up and handling whatever comes our way. The street outside is always packed with people and carts, so getting into the office can be an adventure every morning. We don't have a fancy reception or anyone to open the door for you. We’re usually just busy at our desks or out on a job. It’s been this way for a while now. We’ve learned to work with what we have. West Bengal has its own way of doing things, and we’ve adapted to that over the years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to do a good job for the people who hire us and get through the week. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a backlog, and other times we might leave a little early if the heat gets too bad. It’s a real, living business with all its quirks and messy bits. We don't pretend to be something we're not, and that seems to suit our neighbors just fine. We just take it day by day and hope for some rain when it gets too dusty.
