Meghalaya Power Limited

Our office is located in the Rahara area, specifically at Nandankanan East in North 24 Parganas. It is a residential neighborhood, and we operate out of a building under the name of Sampa Saha. Being a power company, we have a lot of technical things to keep track of, but the office itself is quite simple. We spend most of our time dealing with the local grid issues, paperwork for the electricity supply, and talking to people from the nearby area. Rahara is a place where things move a bit slower than the center of Kolkata, which we don't mind. We have a small staff who knows the local community well. Sometimes people drop by with questions about their service or to settle some billing issues. We don't have a big fancy lobby or any of that. It is just a workspace with some tables and chairs where we can look over maps and technical documents. When the weather is good, it is a nice place to work, but the monsoons can make things a bit difficult with the roads and the power lines. We just do our daily rounds and try to keep things functioning. It is an honest job that requires us to be available when things go wrong with the lines. We are just local people working to keep the lights on for everyone else. We don't make a big deal out of it, we just do what needs doing.
