We’ve been up here on the second floor of the Nilkhand Building for a while now. It’s tucked away in the AC Market on Cmi Street. People usually find us after walking past all the other shops downstairs. The space isn't huge, but we make it work with shelves packed right up to the ceiling. Most days it’s just us moving boxes around and checking the stock lists twice to make sure everything is where it should be. The building can get a bit loud during peak hours because of all the foot traffic in the market, but it’s quieter up here on floor two. We spend a lot of time organizing things. Sometimes the inventory arrives late because of the traffic on the street outside, which is just how things go around here. You get used to the rhythm of the market after a few weeks. We keep our paperwork on a small desk near the window. It’s not a fancy setup, just a practical one. Most of the folks who come in are regulars from the neighborhood or people working in the nearby offices. Knowing many of them by name makes the day feel shorter. If the lift is acting up, the stairs are a bit of a climb, but usually things work okay. We just focus on keeping the shelves full and the place tidy enough to find what anyone needs without searching too long. Working here is steady and the location in the market suits us fine.
