Living and working out of the Mcc Pta India Housing Complex in Haldia Township has its own rhythm. Being located here in Midnapore, West Bengal, means we’re part of the local community in a way that’s different from a city office. The township is a familiar place for everyone who stays here. Our office is right where people live, so you see the same faces every morning. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gates, but it’s nice enough once you’re inside. We’ve got our setup here, and it keeps us busy most days. The weather can get quite humid being where we are, but the fans keep things moving. We don't have a big reception or anything like that. It’s mostly just desks and people working on whatever needs doing for the day. Sometimes the mail takes a bit longer to reach us in the township, but we’re used to it. We handle the corporate side of things from this spot, and it feels more like a home than a sterile workspace. There is always someone around to chat with during lunch or a quick walk outside. It’s a practical way to run things, being close to where everything else happens in the complex. We’ve been at this address for a long time, so we know the local quirks by heart now.
