You can find us at Gate No 2, specifically in rooms 198 and 201. We are located on Rabindra Sarani, right near Chittaranjan Avenue. It is a very crowded and old part of Kolkata, full of history and tall, crumbling buildings. We deal with all kinds of electrical stuff here. The shop itself is small and packed with cardboard boxes from the floor all the way to the ceiling. Sometimes it is actually hard to move around in there without bumping into something. We have wires, switches, and all sorts of little electrical bits and pieces stacked up in every corner. It’s definitely not a polished showroom for fancy lights. It’s a real working shop where electricians and local people come to find exactly what they need for their repairs. The ceiling fans hum all day to try and keep the humidity away, though it doesn't always work. We’ve been in this particular building for quite some time now. The walls could really use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually way too busy to worry about how the place looks to outsiders. People come in with broken parts in their hands, looking for replacements that no one else has. We spend a lot of our time searching through the dusty shelves to find that one specific item. Outside, the trams and the massive crowds never seem to stop moving. It’s a very lively place to be. We don't have a website or any fancy marketing. We just open the iron shutters in the morning and wait for the first customer. It’s honest work, selling things that help people keep their lights and fans running. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It’s like a big, messy family.
