Mattel Toys (I) Pvt. Ltd.

We are located up on the third floor of the Lords building on Lord Sinha Road. It’s a pretty busy area and the elevators are sometimes a bit slow, so a lot of us just end up taking the stairs. Mattel Toys (I) Pvt. Ltd. is basically where we manage all the toy stuff. It’s not a factory, more like an office where we handle the orders and the planning. There are boxes everywhere and the desks are usually covered in samples. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when a new shipment of samples comes in, but we make it work. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or typing away at the computers. It’s not always exciting, but seeing the new designs come through is okay. We’ve got a small break area where the kettle is always on. The view from the third floor isn't much, just the street below, but it’s our spot. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making sure the toys get to where they need to go. Occasionally, things get stressful when deadlines are close, but we usually manage to get through it. It’s just a group of people working together in a rented office space. We try to stay organized, though it doesn't always happen with all the paperwork we have to deal with every day. We just keep plugging away at the spreadsheets and answering the phones until it is time to lock up and head home for the evening.
