Universal Leather Agency

We are located at No. 114- D on Matheswartala Road. This part of town is known for the leather trade, so you can often smell the materials in the air as soon as you turn the corner. Universal Leather Agency has been operating from this spot for quite a long time. The building is older, and the floor is a bit uneven in places, but it’s sturdy. We have stacks of samples and ledgers all over the place. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes. We deal with people in the trade all day long. It’s a lot of talking, checking quality, and making sure shipments are ready to go. We don't have air conditioning in the main storage area, so it gets pretty warm in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is. We’ve got a couple of old wooden desks where we do the paperwork. It’s not a place for people who want a clean, shiny office. This is a place where work actually happens. We’ve known the other business owners on this road for years, and we all kind of look out for each other. Sometimes a delivery truck blocks the whole road, and everyone just has to wait. It’s just the way things work around here. We take things as they come and don't make a big fuss about much. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s our main break.
