Masters Collection

We are based in the Malayalay Building, right at 3 Woodburn Park. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the rest of the city, which makes it a nice place to work. Our space is G7, right on the ground floor. Masters Collection has been around for a while, and we focus on various decorative items and collectibles. It’s not a huge gallery, but we have enough room to show what we have. People usually find us through word of mouth or if they live in the neighborhood. The building itself has a bit of age to it, which we actually like because it has character. Inside, we keep things simple. We don't have bright spotlights or fancy carpets. We just arrange the items so people can see them clearly. Some days are very quiet, and I just sit at the desk reading or catching up on logs. Other days, we have several people coming in to browse and talk. We don't try to push anyone to buy anything. If they like something, they ask the price. We talk about where the items came from and how they were made. It’s a very low-key way of doing business. My family has been involved in this kind of trade for a long time, so it feels natural to me. We don't use a lot of social media. We prefer it when people actually come to Woodburn Park and see the pieces in person. It feels more real that way than looking at a screen.
