You can find us at No. 35 Zakaria Street. We are an electrical shop that has been around the neighborhood for a bit. The shelves are packed with wires, switches, and bulbs. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes. We deal with all the common stuff people need for their homes or small shops. If a fuse blows or someone needs a new light fixture, they usually come by here. Zakaria Street is always busy, so there is a lot of noise outside our door. We spend our time testing parts and talking to customers about what they need. We aren't electricians who go out to big construction sites much; we mostly handle the supplies and smaller local jobs. It’s a practical kind of place. We don’t have fancy displays. Most things are just in their original boxes stacked up. Sometimes we have to dig around to find a specific part someone asked for. It's just a regular local business. We know the people on this street well. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening. If the lights go out, we are usually the first place people think of. We don’t make a big deal out of what we do. It’s just about having the right parts when someone is in a fix. We’ve seen many shops come and go, but we’re still here at number 35.
