Mass And Void Architects

Our office, Mass And Void Architects, is on the second floor of Hitech Chambers. The address is 84 B/1, 2 A, on Topsia Road South, right by Govinda Khatick Road. We are quite close to the Biswakarma Building, which is a big name in this area. Being on the second floor means we have a bit of a view of the street below, which is always full of trucks and cars. Topsia is a very industrial and busy part of Kolkata. There is always something going on outside. The building we are in is decent, it has an elevator but we usually just take the stairs if we aren't carrying anything heavy. Inside, the office is just one big room mostly. We have our drawing boards and some computers. There are rolls of blueprints everywhere. It’s a bit messy, to be honest. We aren't the type to keep everything perfectly filed away until the end of the week. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The sounds of the city come in through the windows, but we don't mind. It's just the background noise of our day. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If someone comes in, one of us just looks up from our desk. We just focus on the drawings and making sure the measurements are right. It’s practical work and we treat it that way. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a set of plans.
