Mas Superalloys (P) Ltd. has been operating out of 138-A, Harish Mukherjee Road for quite some time. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s always crowded and there is a lot of history in these streets. We deal with metals, specifically superalloys, which sounds a bit more complicated than it actually is once you get used to the heat and the handling. It’s a niche area, but we’ve managed to carve out a space for ourselves here. The building isn't new, but it holds everything we need to get the job done. We have a small team, and most of us have been here for years. We know each other's families and how everyone likes their coffee. We don't spend money on glossy brochures or big signs. Usually, the phone rings because someone heard we had a specific grade of material they couldn't find elsewhere. We spend a lot of time checking specs and making sure things are cut right. It’s precision work, even if the surroundings look a bit worn down. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but you get used to it after a while. We just keep our heads down and focus on the orders. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we do. We like being centrally located because it makes logistics a bit easier, even with the narrow roads. We’ll probably be here for a long time yet.
