Maruti Freight Movers is based right here in Kolkata, over at Flat No. B 24/2 in the Kalindi Housing Estate. Being in West Bengal, things can get pretty busy with all the moving parts of freight. We spend most of our time dealing with paperwork and coordinating trucks from this small office. It isn’t fancy, just a regular flat where we get the work done. People around the neighborhood know us as the guys who are always on the phone or tracking shipments. The weather here in Kolkata can be a real challenge sometimes, especially during the rains when the streets get flooded, but the freight business doesn't really stop for that. We’ve been at this for a while now, just handling the logistics and making sure stuff gets from point A to point B without too much trouble. It is honest work, mostly just making sure the drivers know where they are going and the customers know where their items are. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes out, which is just part of living and working in this part of town. We keep things pretty straightforward and don't try to make it sound more complicated than it is. If you walk past the Kalindi Housing Estate, you might see us coming and going. It’s a decent spot to be based out of for this kind of work, and we’re used to the rhythm of the place by now.
