Marc Sanitation

We are located in Kidderpore, which is a really busy part of Kolkata. If you know the area, you know how the streets get with all the traffic and people moving about. Marc Sanitation has been part of this neighborhood for a bit. Our space is filled with all sorts of things like pipes, valves, and bathroom hardware. It’s a bit of a maze inside because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand. You’ll usually find us either on the phone or helping someone figure out which part fits their old plumbing. Kolkata has that humidity that makes everything feel a bit slower, but we stay busy. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us working behind the counter and in the storage area. We handle a lot of heavy lifting. It’s dirty work sometimes, getting grease on your hands or carrying heavy boxes through narrow doorways. We’ve grown used to the noise of the city outside. Most of our days are spent just making sure the deliveries are on time and that we haven't run out of the basics. We don’t go in for fancy talk. We just tell people what we have in stock and how long it’ll take to get. It’s a plain, honest way of doing business in a city that never really stops moving. We’re just glad to be working here in Kidderpore, getting through the daily list of chores.
