Mammam Tution

We are over here at 8A Lake View Road, right beside the Ballygunge Cultural Association. It is a quiet enough spot for the kids to sit down and focus on their books without too much noise from Sarat Bose Road getting in the way. People usually find us easily because of the cultural association landmark nearby. Mammam Tution has been doing this for a bit now, just helping out students from the local schools who need a bit of extra time with their subjects. It is not a fancy place, just a regular space with tables and chairs where learning happens. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when everyone shows up at the same time, but we manage. You’ll see us there in the afternoons mostly. The neighborhood is nice, and being in the 700029 zip code means we get a lot of kids from the nearby blocks. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most folks just hear about us from their neighbors or see the sign when they are walking toward the lake. We keep things pretty simple here. There are notebooks everywhere and the sound of pens scratching on paper. It is just a place for students to get their work done and maybe understand their lessons a little better than they did in class. If you are walking down Lake View Road, you can't really miss the building. It has been a steady part of the street for a while now.
