Ah Sports

Ah Sports is located near the Grand Oberoi Hotel, right at the spot they call Planet. Our mailing address is Post Box No. 13108 in Mumbai, but the shop itself is where the action is. It is a small place packed with all kinds of gear. You’ll see cricket bats leaning against the walls and footballs stacked up in the corners. It’s usually a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside at once. Since we are near the hotel, we get a lot of travelers walking by, but most of our regulars are local kids and people from the neighborhood. Mumbai is always moving, and things get dusty pretty fast, so we are always wiping down the shelves. We don't have a website or anything fancy like that. People just know we are here. If you are looking for something specific, you might have to dig through a few boxes. We like talking about the latest games while we work. It’s not a polished showroom with bright lights. It’s just a sports shop where the floor is a bit worn out from all the feet walking through. We stay open late most days because that’s when people finish their work and want to play. It is a simple life, surrounded by sports stuff and the noise of the city outside. There is always something to do, even if it is just sorting through a new box of socks.
