Mahajati Nagar Health Centre

Our place, Mahajati Nagar Health Centre, is over at 3/54 Mahajati Nagar. It’s right near the Mahajati Sangha Club, so most people around here know exactly where that is. We aren't a big hospital or anything like that. It's more of a local spot where people come when they need something simple. The building has been here for a long time and it looks like most of the other houses on the street, so you have to keep an eye out for the number. Inside, we have a few rooms set up for different things. It’s usually pretty quiet until the afternoon when more people start showing up. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything; it’s just a handful of us who live nearby or take the bus in every morning. We try to keep the chairs in the waiting area decent, though they’ve seen better days for sure. It gets a bit hot in the summer months, but we have the fans going as fast as they can. We just focus on getting through the daily list of people who come by. There’s no big mystery to how we run things. We show up, help out where we can, and lock up at the end of the day. Sometimes we run out of forms or the ink in the printer dies right when we need it, but we manage. It’s a local operation for local people, and we like it that way.
