We have been running Madhu Auto at 78/1 Golaghata Road for quite some time now. Our shop is located right near the Gika Banquet, which most people around here use as a landmark when they are trying to find us. It is not a very large place, but we manage to fit a lot of work into it. Most days it is just us fixing whatever car or bike rolls through the front. The floor is usually covered in some oil or grease, and we have tools scattered on the benches. It is just a regular workshop, nothing fancy or polished like those big dealerships you see in the city center. We don't have a big waiting room with air conditioning, just a couple of plastic stools if someone needs to sit while we finish up. The traffic on Golaghata Road can get pretty loud, especially in the afternoons, but we are used to it by now. We just do our work and try to help people get back on the road. Sometimes the spare parts take a day or two to arrive, but we keep things moving as fast as we can. We are just local guys who know how to use a wrench. We don't spend any time on fancy ads or social media stuff. We just open the shutters in the morning and stay busy until it gets dark out. It’s a simple way to make a living and we like being part of the neighborhood.
