M. O. Industries Haldia

M. O. Industries Haldia is located at P/29A in the SSI Industrial Estate. This part of Durgachak is always full of activity, with people moving back and forth between the different units. Our workshop is a practical space designed for industrial work, not for showing off. We have a variety of machines and tools spread out across the floor, and there’s always a faint smell of oil and metal in the air. Purba Medinipur gets quite humid, so we usually have the big shutter doors open to let some air circulate while we work. It’s a tough environment sometimes, but it’s what we know. We handle a lot of metal components and industrial parts. The staff here are all local people who have been working in the estate for a long time. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive signs. Most of our day is spent at the workbench or tending to the machines. When the power goes out, which happens occasionally, we all take a break and sit outside on the steps. It’s a chance to chat with the workers from the next unit over. We’ve been part of this industrial estate for quite some time, and we’ve seen businesses come and go. We just keep our heads down and continue doing our part in the production line every single day.
