Our business, M. C. Mowjee & Co. (P) Ltd., is located at 46, Ezra Street. If you know anything about this part of the city, you know that Ezra Street is famous for being very crowded and full of trade. Our building is an old one, which fits in with the rest of the neighborhood. We have been here for a long time, and the walls probably have a lot of stories to tell. Inside, it is a bit of a maze with all the desks and files we have gathered over the years. We don't have any of those modern open-plan offices you see in magazines. It is a traditional workplace where everyone has their own spot and knows what they are supposed to be doing. The street outside is always buzzing with people and handcarts moving goods around. It can be quite loud, but we are used to it by now. We just get on with our tasks. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny signs. People know where to find us at number 46. We have a history in this area and we plan to stay here. It is a busy, honest way to make a living. We value the fact that we are right in the heart of the commercial district. It makes everything feel more connected to the real world of buying and selling. We just keep things moving along as they always have been.
