L.T.Elevator Pvt Ltd is based at 3/119A in Gandhi Colony, which is in the Kol-92 area of Kolkata. We are a small company that deals with all kinds of elevator work. Our office is usually a bit of a mess because we have tools and spare parts everywhere. We spend most of our time out in the city fixing lifts or installing new ones in buildings. Elevators can be very temperamental, so there is always something that needs our attention. We aren't the kind of people who sit at desks all day. Our clothes usually have a bit of grease on them from working with the machinery. Kolkata has so many old buildings, and many of their elevators need constant care. It is hard work, often involving climbing many flights of stairs when a lift is broken down. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy showroom. We just have our workshop in Gandhi Colony. Sometimes we are called out late at night if someone is stuck, and we just go and get it done. It is a small team of us who have learned everything about how these machines run. We don't use big words or corporate talk. We just fix the problems as they come. The office fan makes a bit of a noise, but we are used to it. It’s just a regular day for us here.
