We operate out of 119/A in Baishak Bagan, which is in the Patipukur area of Kolkata. Lmj Logistics Ltd has been here for some time now. This part of the city is always buzzing, especially with all the commercial activity around the markets. Our setup is pretty simple. We have a few rooms where we handle the logistics side of things, mostly tracking shipments and talking to drivers on their mobiles. The roads around Patipukur can be a bit of a nightmare during peak hours, which makes our job interesting. We don't have a big corporate lobby or fancy coffee machines. It is just a place where we get the work done. Shipping and handling goods takes a lot of coordination, and things don't always go exactly as planned. We just deal with it as it comes. Usually, the office is a bit messy with ledgers and printouts everywhere. It’s not the most modern place, but it works for what we do. We know the local transport routes quite well. Most of us have lived in Kolkata our whole lives. We don't do much advertising; most people just know we are here at this address. It’s a straightforward business, moving stuff from one place to another. We just try to keep the schedules on track and make sure nothing gets lost or damaged. That is how we spend our days.
