Our office is located at 20/7A Aswini Dutta Road in Kolkata. Lmj International has been operating from this address for quite a bit now. It’s a fairly well-known street in the 700 029 area, and we like being part of this neighborhood. We do international business, which means we deal with a lot of people from different places, but we are very much a local Kolkata operation at heart. The office is a bit old-fashioned, but it has everything we need to stay busy. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or marketing ourselves. Most of our day is spent on the phone or emailing people to arrange trade and shipments. It’s a lot of small details that you have to get right. Aswini Dutta Road is usually bustling, and there are plenty of little shops nearby where we grab lunch or a snack. We’ve got a small team, and we mostly just focus on getting the work done without making a big deal out of it. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows each other’s names. We have our routines, like starting the day with a chat about what needs to happen before the evening. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment, but we do take the work seriously. Kolkata is a great city for trade, and we are glad to be right in the middle of it. That's pretty much who we are.
