Lloyds British Testing Ltd.

We are set up on Najrul Sarani in the Matkol area of Dum Dum Cantonment. If you know Kolkata, you know this part of the city can get pretty loud with the trains and the general bustle of the cantonment. Lloyds British Testing Ltd. has been operating out of this spot for a bit. The building is older, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it serves its purpose for the testing we do. We don't have a big fancy sign, just a regular entrance. Inside, there’s always the smell of grease or metal, depending on what we are looking at that day. The humidity in Kolkata is no joke, especially in the afternoons when the air feels heavy. We have a few desks and a lot of testing gear taking up space. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We mostly just talk about the jobs we have lined up and complain about the rain when it floods the street outside. Our neighbors are mostly other small businesses and residences, so it’s a real mix. Sometimes the local tea seller stops by with a tray of chai. We aren't a big operation with hundreds of people. It’s just a small crew of us trying to stay on top of the schedule. We handle the paperwork in the back room and keep the equipment in the front. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. Things get done.
