Our office is located at Ae-44 on the ground floor in Salt Lake. It’s a pretty quiet residential block, which is a nice change from the busier parts of the city. Being on the ground floor means we can just walk straight in from the street, which is convenient. The building is one of those typical Salt Lake houses that’s been converted for commercial use. We have a few rooms that we’ve turned into our workspace. At Little Earth Commercial Pvt. Ltd., we handle a lot of different things, so there are usually stacks of documents and samples sitting on the tables. It’s not a very formal environment. Most of us just wear casual clothes and get on with the day's tasks. There’s a small garden area out front that we try to keep tidy, though the city dust makes it a bit difficult. Inside, the rooms are a bit dark because of the trees outside, so we keep the lights on even during the day. We have a small pantry where we keep the kettle and some biscuits. It feels more like working from a home than a corporate office. Sometimes the neighbor’s cat wanders onto the porch. We’ve been here for a few years and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. It’s a steady, calm place to do business without too many distractions. We like the local feel of it.
