You can find us over at 122 Krishnapur Road in Dum Dum. We are really close to the Prafulayn Marriage House, so we often hear the music and the crowds from the weddings held there. Being in the wood industry means our workshop is always covered in sawdust and the air is thick with the sound of saws cutting through timber. It is a noisy, messy business, but that is how things get made. We have been in this part of Dum Dum for a long time. The building itself is older and has a lot of character, even if it’s a bit rough around the edges. We don't have a fancy reception area or air conditioning. We just have our machines and the stacks of raw wood waiting to be processed. Most of our day is spent measuring, cutting, and checking the grain of the wood. It is physical work that leaves you tired by the end of the shift. We talk to the local contractors and the people living nearby who need something specific built. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or using big buzzwords. We just know how to work with wood and that is what we do every day. The neighborhood is lively, and we feel like a real part of the street. It’s just a basic workshop where real work happens with real people behind the machines. We keep it simple.
