We’re located at 8/4 on Barada Basak Street. Lightex is the name on the door, though some people just call us the shop on the corner. It’s a pretty old street with a lot of history, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. Our space isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we store things and stack the inventory. We mostly deal with local orders and people who have known us for years. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things around and making sure the counts are right at the end of the day. We don’t have a big fancy sign or any neon lights, just enough so people can find us. The street can be narrow, so deliveries are sometimes a bit of a headache when the trucks can't get through. We just make it work and carry things by hand if we have to. We aren't interested in sounding like a big corporation with a board of directors. We’re just a small team of people who show up every morning and do the job. Some days are slow, and we spend time tidying up the shelves or fixing the door. Other days, we’re running around like crazy trying to get things done. That’s just how it is when you run a small place like this. We know most of the people who live and work around Barada Basak Street. It’s a community.
