You have to enter from Lord Sinha Road to find us at No. 1 A. J. C. Bose Road. We are on the ground floor, right in that busy Middleton Row area. Lifestyle Furnishing Private Limited isn't some massive showroom with spotlights and music playing. It’s just our space where we keep the furniture and handle the paperwork. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded with new arrivals, and we have to shuffle things around just to walk through. The street noise outside is constant, but we’re used to it by now. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop in to see what we have. The lighting is just regular overhead stuff, nothing special. We don’t have a script for when people call; we just answer and try to help. There’s a small corner where we keep the ledger and some old catalogs. It’s a bit dusty back there. We’ve been at this location for a good while, so we know the local shops and the guys who deliver the mail. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, we show the pieces we have, and we arrange the deliveries. There aren't any big speeches or corporate meetings. It’s just us working in the middle of the city, trying to keep everything organized. The delivery boys are always coming and going, so the front door stays moving all day long.
