Wurze Floors

We are located at 120 Lenin Sarani in Kolkata. Wurze Floors is a place where we keep a lot of different flooring samples, so there is always something to trip over if you aren't careful. Lenin Sarani is a very busy street with a lot of shops and people constantly rushing past our door. Inside, we have stacks of wood, tiles, and other materials. It is not exactly a polished showroom. It’s more of a working space where we help people figure out what might look good in their homes or offices. We get a lot of dust from the street, so we spend a decent amount of time cleaning the samples so people can actually see the colors. Most of our day is spent talking to customers who come in off the street or answering questions on the phone. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything; it is just us here in the shop. Sometimes we go out to look at sites to see how the floors are being put in, but usually, you will find one of us sitting behind the counter. It is a straightforward business. We show you what we have, tell you how much it costs, and that’s about it. The traffic outside can be a bit much at times, but we like being in the center of things here in Kolkata.
