Larsen & Toubro Ltd. - Ecc Division

Our office is on Bakul Bagan Road in Bhowanipore, which is an old part of Kolkata. It’s a busy street with a lot of life, and our building at 163A fits right in. We’re the ECC Division of Larsen & Toubro Ltd. working out of this space. The rooms are a bit cramped because the building is older, but it has a lot of character. You can hear the sounds of the street outside all day long. We have a lot of files stacked up on every available surface. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. The team here has been together for a long time, so we work well together. We handle a lot of engineering and construction coordination from this spot. It’s mostly about managing schedules and making sure the sites have what they need. We drink a lot of tea throughout the day to keep going. There isn't any fancy furniture or modern art on the walls. It’s just a place for work. Sometimes the rain makes the street outside flood a little, which makes getting to the office an adventure. We don’t do big presentations or anything like that. We just look at the numbers and the drawings and try to keep the projects on track. It’s just a normal day at the office for us in this part of town.
