Our spot is at 25 Ramgarh Road, right in the Dakshineswar area of Kolkata. Being near the temple means there is always a lot of energy and people around. The office itself is pretty plain. We are in a building that has seen a lot of years, but it stays cool enough with the old thick walls. We handle the ECC division tasks from here. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls to different project sites. The traffic on Ramgarh Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually try to wrap things up and head out before the rush starts. Inside, we’ve got stacks of files and a few old fans that hum all day long. We aren't trying to be the most modern office in the city. We just need a place to sit and work. The tea stall around the corner is where we get most of our drinks during the day. It’s a very local vibe. We know the people in the neighboring shops and they know us. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or a security guard at a front desk. You just walk in and find us at our desks. It’s a bit cluttered sometimes, especially when we have new drawings coming in, but we know where everything is. It’s homey in its own way. We take turns bringing in snacks to share during the afternoon break. Kolkata is a city that never stops, and we are just a small part of its machinery. We work hard, keep things simple, and try to enjoy the little moments in between.
