It’s a residential building, so it feels very different from a typical office park. Being in Kolkata, the humidity is part of the job, and the EM Bypass is always humming with traffic not too far away. At Larsen & Toubro Limited, we work out of this flat. It’s a bit compact, but it fits everything we need. We have the usual desks and computers set up in the rooms. Living and working in a residency means we have to be mindful of the neighbors. It’s a quiet tower for the most part. We like the location because it is easy to get to different parts of the city from the Bypass. We don't have a big reception desk or anything. You just come to the flat. It is a very practical way to run things. We spend our days looking over documents and taking calls. It’s just a normal day at the office for us. No big speeches or fancy branding around. Just a flat in Tower 2 where the work happens. It works for us and keeps things simple. We have our files and our coffee and we just keep going.
