Larsen & Toubro, Ecc Division

We have been at Plot 533 in the Anandpur area for quite a while now. It’s situated right near the Ruby General Hospital, so most people know the general location. The traffic around here can be a real headache in the mornings, especially when the bypass gets backed up. We usually just start our day by grabbing some tea from the small stall outside the gate before heading into the office. The building itself is pretty plain and doesn’t have any fancy glass walls or anything like that. We mostly deal with the ECC division's paperwork and coordination for various construction sites across the city. It’s a busy place with a lot of coming and going. You’ll see people carrying rolls of blueprints and others stuck to their phones trying to track down material deliveries. The desks are always piled high with files and site reports. It’s not the most organized looking spot, but it works for us. We have a small group of regulars who have worked here for years. We know each other’s families and what everyone likes to eat for lunch. Most of the time, we just order something from the local shops nearby. It’s a practical workspace where we focus on getting the tasks done. Sometimes the noise from the street gets a bit loud, but we’ve grown used to it over time. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a local office handling our daily responsibilities in Kolkata.
